About the Opportunity

The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Thiruvananthapuram (IISER TVM) invites applications for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position under the externally funded project titled “Development of Miniature Lithium Ion Batteries for On-Chip Energy Storage.”

The position is offered on a contractual basis under the MoE-STARS funded project.

Essential Qualification

Candidates must possess:

• M.Sc. in Physics or Materials Science with a minimum of 60% marks.

• Qualification in a national-level examination such as CSIR-UGC NET, GATE, JEST, or equivalent.

Desirable Qualification

Working experience in the area of energy materials is desirable.

Fellowship

INR 37,000 per month + HRA

Appointment Duration

The appointment will initially be for a period of 6 months and is extendable.

Age Limit

25 years
