Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Tirupati invites applications from eligible Indian nationals for 01 Project Associate-I / Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position under a research project funded by MoE-STARS, Government of India.

Position Overview

Project Title

“Carbene-Phosphinidenides as Stabilizing Ligands for the Isolation of Mixed-Valence Transition Metal Clusters and their Applications in Catalysis and Light Emitting Materials”

Essential Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

• M.Sc. in Chemistry, or

• An equivalent degree

with a minimum of:

• 65% marks, or

• Equivalent grade.

Desirable Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates having:

• Research experience in Organic Synthesis, and/or

• Research experience in Inorganic Synthesis

Fellowship / Salary

For NET/GATE/National-Level Examination Qualified Candidates

INR 37,000 per month + 8% HRA

Applicable to candidates selected through:

• CSIR-UGC NET, including Lectureship/Assistant Professorship

• GATE

• National-level examinations conducted by Central Government departments, agencies or institutions

For Other Eligible Candidates

INR 30,000 per month + 8% HRA

Age Limit

Candidates should preferably not be more than 50 years of age as on the closing date of the advertisement.

Tenure

• The position is temporary.

• The appointment will initially be renewable after three months, subject to satisfactory performance.

• The position is co-terminus with the research project.
