About the Opportunity

IISER Thiruvananthapuram is recruiting a Research Associate-I for the externally funded project titled “Convergence Analysis of Adaptive Finite Element Methods for Optimal Control Problems.”

The position provides an opportunity to undertake advanced mathematical research in areas related to adaptive finite element methods and optimal control problems.

Minimum Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess:

• PhD in Mathematics

• Qualification requirements should be in accordance with the norms prescribed by the funding agency.

Desirable Qualification

• PhD in Mathematics

• Adaptive Finite Element Methods

Fellowship

INR 58,000 per month + HRA

Tenure of Appointment

The initial appointment will be for one year and is extendable.

Age Limit

The upper age limit is 40 years as on the last date of application.

Age relaxation will be applicable according to Government rules.
