The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Pune (IISER Pune) invites applications from Indian nationals for the position of Project Associate-I under an Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) funded research project.

Position Overview

Project Title

Design and Synthesis of Cyclic Alkyl Amino Olefin (CAAO) and Its Utility for the Isolation of Low-valent Main-Group Species

The selected candidate will work on this ANRF-funded research project at IISER Pune.

Essential Qualification

Candidates must possess:

• Master’s degree in Chemistry or related areas.

Preferred Qualification / Experience

Preference will be given to candidates having:

• Experimental research experience in inorganic chemistry.

Salary / Emoluments

The selected candidate will receive:

INR 30,000 per month + 30% House Rent Allowance (HRA)

Appointment Duration

The appointment will initially be for one year.

It may be extended for a further period subject to:

• Satisfactory performance of the incumbent; and

• Continuation of the project.

Selection Process

Selection will be conducted through a Walk-in Interview.
