The selected candidate will work as a Project Associate-I at IISER Pune. The opportunity is particularly suitable for candidates with an academic background in Chemistry/Organic Chemistry and relevant research or process-development experience.

Essential Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

• Master's degree in Chemistry

• Specialization in Organic Chemistry or a related area

Preferred Experience

Preference will be given to candidates having at least one year of relevant process-development experience in carbohydrate chemistry, including experience in:

• Organic synthesis

• Reaction optimization

• Purification

• Characterization of routine carbohydrate molecules

Tenure of Appointment

The appointment is currently indicated to be valid up to March 31, 2027.

The position is offered on a temporary and contractual basis.

Selection Process

Selection will be conducted through a Walk-in Interview.

Walk-in Interview Date: September 10, 2026
