Development of Data-Driven Machine-learned Interatomic Potentials for Quantum Molecular Simulations of Condensed-Phases and Reaction Dynamics

About the Opportunity

The project focuses on developing data-driven, machine-learned interatomic potentials for quantum molecular simulations involving condensed phases and reaction dynamics.

The selected JRFs will work under the supervision of Dr. Apurba Nandi, Department of Chemistry, IISER Bhopal.

Essential Qualification

Candidates should satisfy either of the following:

• Master’s degree with ≥60% marks or 7.0 CPI/CGPA, along with at least one national-level qualification such as UGC-JRF / CSIR-JRF / NET-LS / JEST / valid GATE score, OR

• Completed BS-MS from national-level institutes such as IIT/IISER/IISc with ≥8 CPI

• Chemistry

• Chemical Engineering

• Physics

• Data Science

• Computer Science

• Related fields

Fellowship

INR 37,000 per month + 20% HRA

Appointment Duration

The initial appointment is for one year.

There is potential for continuation toward a Ph.D., subject to satisfactory performance and fulfilment of Institute criteria.
