Essential Qualifications

1. Project Associate-I

Candidates should possess:

• M.Sc. in Physics

OR

• M.Tech / B.Tech in:

  • Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)

  • Electrical Engineering (EE)

  • Computer Science (CS)

  • Physics

  • Related disciplines

Candidates should have a good academic record with:

• First Class / Division

OR

• Minimum CPI of 7.0/10.0

Experience Required:

• Minimum 2 years of R&D experience in:

  • Industrial institutions

  • Academic institutions

  • Science and technology organizations

Salary: INR 25,000 per month + 18% HRA

2. Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Candidates should possess:

• M.Sc. in Physics

OR

• M.Tech / B.Tech in:

  • ECE

  • EE

  • CS

  • Physics

  • Related disciplines

Candidates should have:

• First Class / Division

OR

• Minimum CPI of 7.0/10.0

Candidates must also have qualified a relevant National Eligibility Test, such as:

• CSIR-UGC NET JRF

• JEST

• GATE

• Other equivalent national-level examinations

The candidate should possess a valid rank/score at the time of application.

Salary: INR 37,000 per month + 18% HRA

3. Research Associate-I

Candidates should possess:

• PhD in Physics / Electrical Engineering (EE)

• Good academic record

Salary: INR 58,000 per month + 18% HRA

Additional / Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates having research experience in areas such as:

• 2D Materials

• Optics

• Photonics

• Nanofabrication

• Quantum Information

• Solid-State NMR

• Scanning Probe Microscopy

• Atomic Force Microscopy

• Magneto-optical Characterization Techniques

• Cryogenics

• Lock-in Techniques

• Python Programming

• Electron Spin Resonance

• Quantum Optimal Control

• Atomic Magnetometry

Candidates with expertise in developing indigenous scientific instruments will also be preferred, particularly in:

• Design and fabrication of laser and optics systems

• Testing of scientific instruments

• Low-noise analog and digital electronics

• FPGA-based systems

• Arduino-based systems

• Mechanical development

• Software development

• Magnet design

Salary / Fellowship

Duration

All advertised positions are for a duration of:

12 Months

The appointments are project-based and associated with the sponsored research project.
