About IDeAL

The Inter-disciplinary Decision Sciences & Analytics Lab (IDeAL) is a Centre of Excellence at IIM Visakhapatnam.

The Lab focuses on academic research, industrial and government consultancy, product development and training. Its interdisciplinary research uses innovations in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Cloud Computing, Graph Analytics, Game Theory, Cyber-Physical Systems and Pervasive Computing, while maintaining strong mathematical optimization and Data Science at its core.

IDeAL also works on addressing real-world challenges faced by India and other emerging economies.

Position: Research Associate – Data Science

Essential Qualification

Candidates should possess:

• B.E./B.Tech or M.Sc. in Mathematics or Computer Science from a recognized university/institution.

Desirable Qualification

• M.Tech / MS / MCA or higher qualification in Mathematics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Data Science, or a closely related discipline.

Nature of Appointment

The position is offered on a contract basis at the Inter-disciplinary Decision Sciences & Analytics Lab (IDeAL), IIM Visakhapatnam.
