About the Role

The MPRC is responsible for planning and executing public-relations strategies across print, electronic and social media to strengthen the institutional visibility and brand of IIM Kashipur.

The selected candidate will work with internal and external stakeholders and support the institute’s communication, media and promotional activities.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be expected to:

• Develop networks for media and promotional activities

• Research, write and issue news releases and stories related to IIM Kashipur

• Coordinate with faculty, staff, bloggers, special-interest groups and other stakeholders

• Develop digital media and social media content

• Support PR activities for IIM Kashipur publications

• Assist in managing the institute’s reputation and responding to media stories

• Prepare and obtain approval for official statements issued on behalf of IIM Kashipur

• Develop content for the institute website, internal newsletters, emails and other communication channels

• Maintain and update media contact lists

• Support media training programmes and related communication activities

• Arrange institutional visits related to MPRC activities

• Build connections with government agencies, universities, investors and international organisations

• Proofread print and broadcast content for grammatical and typographical accuracy

• Monitor and analyse media coverage related to IIM Kashipur

• Support production of publicity brochures, handouts, promotional videos, photographs, films and multimedia content

• Assist in managing the PR aspects of potential crises

• Perform other responsibilities assigned by the competent authority
