Position Overview

Project Title

“Migration, Networks and Employability”

The selected Research Associate will contribute to an Institute-sponsored research project examining themes related to migration, networks, employability, and associated research areas.

Essential Qualification

Candidates should possess:

• Master’s Degree from a recognized University / Institution

• Significant research experience

Desirable Qualification

Preference may be given to candidates possessing:

• Master’s degree in Human Resource

• Ph.D.

Experience

Candidates should have approximately:

2–5 years of significant research experience

Relevant experience in academic research, data collection, analysis, report preparation, literature review, or related research activities may be beneficial.

Remuneration

The selected Research Associate will receive consolidated remuneration ranging from:

INR 26,000 to INR 35,000 per month

The exact remuneration will be determined according to the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 40 years as on the closing date of application.

• Age relaxation will be applicable according to Government of India norms, wherever applicable.

Duration of Appointment

The initial appointment will be for:

04 Months

The engagement may be extended for 01 additional month depending on project requirements.

The position is:

• Purely temporary

• Contractual

• Project-based

The appointment will not confer any right or claim for regular employment at IIM Amritsar.
