Project Title

“Analysis and Prototyping of Wireless Communications in Wave-Denied Environments: A Molecular Layer Aspect of 6G (WiC-WD6G)”

The project is funded by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), Government of India, under the Prime Minister’s Early Career Research Grant.

About the Position

IIIT Surat invites applications for one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position to work on advanced theoretical and experimental research related to next-generation wireless and molecular communication systems.

The selected candidate will contribute to research focused on communication systems operating in wave-denied environments, with particular emphasis on emerging 6G communication technologies.

Key Responsibilities

The selected JRF will work on:

• Theoretical modelling of wireless and molecular communication systems

• Mathematical analysis

• Simulation and experimental validation

• Diffusion-based channel modelling

• First-passage / hitting-time analysis

• Stochastic process modelling

• Signal processing

• Numerical simulations

• Prototype development

• Preparation of research publications

• Technical report writing

• Dissemination of project outcomes

• Development of new research directions

• Preparation of research proposals for future funding opportunities
