The Indian Institute of Information Technology Nagpur (IIIT Nagpur) invites applications for one Project Associate-I (PA-I) position under an ANRF-PAIR funded project. The selected candidate will work on research related to green hydrogen, alkaline electrolyzers, and hydrogen production.

Position Overview

About the Opportunity

The position is available under the ANRF-PAIR funded project titled “ANRF PAIR IITB HUB.”

The research focuses on the design and performance analysis of alkaline electrolyzers for hydrogen production, combining experimental and theoretical approaches.

Essential Qualification

Candidates should possess a:

Master’s Degree (M.Sc./M.Tech.) in Physics or an equivalent discipline.

Candidates should also be qualified in any one of the following national-level eligibility examinations/processes:

• GATE

• CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship)

• National-level examinations conducted by Central Government departments and their agencies/institutions

Desired Skills

Preference will be given to candidates having:

• Experience in ceramics processing

• Electrospraying of ceramic fiber

• Knowledge of electronic material characterization techniques such as:

  • XRD

  • Profilometer

  • SEM

  • AFM

• Device characterization such as:

  • Electrical conductivity

  • CV

  • Impedance measurements

  • PE measurement

• Knowledge of simulation software

Research Area

The selected candidate will primarily work in:

Green Hydrogen / Alkaline Electrolyzers / Hydrogen Production / Energy & Sustainability / Materials Characterization

Appointment Duration

The initial appointment will be for 12 months.

The position may be extended further based on satisfactory performance. The appointment will be co-terminus with the approved project duration and does not confer any right to permanent employment at IIIT Nagpur.
