The Indian Institute of Information Technology Kalyani (IIIT Kalyani) invites applications for Project Assistant (PA) and Intern positions in a research project under the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). The project is sponsored by TCoE, Department of Telecommunication (DoT), Ministry of Communication, Government of India.

Position Overview

Project Title

“Design and Development of Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) Algorithms and Security Analysis: Code Based”

Institute Code: IIITK/SRIC/TCoE/25-26/TTDFQT

Position 1: Project Assistant – General/Administrative Background

Number of Positions: 02

Eligibility

• Graduate in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks throughout.

• Final-year candidates may also apply.

Preferred Experience

Prior experience in the following areas will be advantageous:

• Back-office work

• Finance

• Inventory control

• Project account management

• Client relationships

• Other related administrative activities

Position 2: Project Assistant – Technical

Number of Positions: 02

Eligibility

Candidates should possess either:

• B.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology or equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks throughout. Second-, third- and fourth-year candidates may also apply.

OR

• M.Sc. in Mathematics or an allied/relevant area with a minimum CGPA of 6.0 on a 10-point scale or 55% marks. Final-year candidates may also apply.

Required / Preferred Skills

Candidates should be well versed in:

• Programming in C

• Programming in Python

Knowledge of the following will provide an additional advantage:

• Coding Theory

• Cryptography

• Machine Learning

• Deep Learning

Honorarium & Tenure

Honorarium: Up to INR 15,000 per month

The appointment is renewable based on satisfactory performance:

• Intern: Every 3 months

• Project Assistant: Every 6 months
