Assistant Registrar

The selected candidate will be engaged in a senior administrative role supporting the Institute’s academic, administrative, student, industry, placement, and institutional activities.

The appointment is offered on a contractual basis for an initial period of 11 months.

Essential Qualification

Candidates should possess:

• A Postgraduate Degree

• Minimum 55% marks or equivalent

• An excellent academic record

The postgraduate degree should be obtained from a recognized University / Institution.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

Preference will be given to candidates possessing:

• First Class MBA from a recognized University / Institute

• Ability to develop strong, credible, and reciprocal relationships with industry

• Ability to work effectively with Undergraduate and Postgraduate students from diverse social and economic backgrounds

• Strong communication, liaison, public relations, and relationship-building skills

Experience Requirements

Candidates should preferably have a minimum of 5 years of significant and proven experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Campus Placements at reputed institutions such as:

  • IITs

  • NITs

  • IIITs

  • CFTIs

• State Universities

• Private Universities

• Multinational Companies

• Corporate Relations

• Public Relations

• Career / Human Resource Development

• Training and allied institutional activities

Relevant experience in placement administration, industry engagement, corporate relations, and student career development will be particularly useful.

Remuneration

The selected Assistant Registrar will receive a consolidated remuneration of:

INR 89,760 per month

The remuneration is consolidated for the contractual appointment.

Age Limit

The prescribed upper age limit is:

Not more than 45 years
