Position Overview

Research Area of the Project

“Development of a Digital Twin framework integrating wearable biosensing, multi-sensor data fusion and machine learning for real-time astronaut health monitoring and performance optimization during space missions.”

The project focuses on developing advanced digital health and monitoring technologies for space applications using wearable biosensors, Digital Twin systems, machine learning and multi-sensor data analytics.

Essential Qualifications

Candidates should possess a B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent degree in any of the following disciplines:

• Robotics and Automation

• Electronics and Communication Engineering

• Computer Science and Engineering

• Electrical and Electronics Engineering

• Biomedical Engineering

• Related disciplines

Candidates should have First Class, with a minimum of:

• 60% marks, or

• 6.5 CGPA

Required Domain Expertise

Candidates should preferably have experience or knowledge in:

• Wearable biosensors

• Embedded systems

• Wireless data acquisition

• Digital Twin concepts

• Multi-sensor data fusion

• Physiological signal processing

• Machine learning algorithms

• Time-series data analysis

• Telemetry dashboards

• Python

• C / C++

Fellowship

The selected Project Associates will receive:

INR 31,000 per month + 10% HRA

Appointment Duration

The position will be offered for:

02 Years (24 Months)

The appointment will be co-terminus with the duration of the project and continuation will be subject to satisfactory performance in each year.

Nature of the Position

The position is:

• Purely temporary

• Time-bound

• Linked to the ISRO-sponsored research project

• Subject to annual performance assessment
