PDPM Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing (IIITDM), Jabalpur, invites applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under an ANRF-funded research project titled “Synergistic Fusion of 6G Molecular Communication and Terahertz Systems for Early Cancer Detection and Targeted Drug Delivery.”

Eligible candidates are invited to participate in the selection process through a written test/interview.

Position Overview

About the Research Project

The research project focuses on developing advanced solutions for early in vivo cancer detection using molecular communication technologies.

The project aims to integrate 6G molecular communication and terahertz systems to support early cancer detection and targeted drug delivery.

Key research objectives include:

• Developing advanced solutions for early cancer detection using molecular communication.

• Supporting accurate cancer-stage classification and tissue localization.

• Optimizing nanomachine-based drug delivery.

• Analyzing terahertz wave attenuation.

• Enabling seamless interfacing with external devices.

Essential Qualifications

Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications:

• B.E./B.Tech with First Class or equivalent in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) or an allied branch relevant to the project.

• M.E./M.Tech with First Class or equivalent in ECE or an allied branch relevant to the project.

Preference: Candidates qualified in GATE/NET will be given preference.

Desirable Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates possessing knowledge or experience in:

• Communication systems.

• Signal processing.

• Related research areas relevant to the project.

Fellowship / Salary

The selected candidate will receive:

INR 37,000 per month + House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per institute norms.

Appointment Duration

• Initial Appointment: One year.

• Extension: One additional year, subject to satisfactory performance.

Age Limit

Maximum Age: 35 years.

Selection Process

Selection will be conducted through a written test/interview.
