PDPM Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing (IIITDM), Jabalpur invites applications for one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position under an Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF)–PMECRG funded research project titled “Post-Quantum Secure and Verifiable Auction Framework for National e-Governance.”

Position Overview

About the Research Project

The JRF position is available under the ANRF–PMECRG funded project:

“Post-Quantum Secure and Verifiable Auction Framework for National e-Governance.”

The project focuses on research relating to post-quantum security and verifiable auction frameworks for national e-Governance applications.

The selected candidate will work in a research environment involving cryptography, post-quantum cryptography and related computational technologies.

Essential Qualifications

Candidates must possess a Graduate or Postgraduate Degree in one of the following disciplines:

• Computer Science and Engineering

• Information Technology

• Similar or related branches

Accepted Degrees: B.E., B.Tech., M.E. or M.Tech.

Desirable Qualifications and Skills

Preference will be given to candidates who possess:

• GATE/NET qualification, either recent or from the past

• Knowledge or experience in Cryptography

• Knowledge of Post-Quantum Cryptography

• Understanding of Linear Algebra

• Understanding of Abstract Algebra

• Programming skills

Candidates with relevant academic knowledge and technical experience in these areas are encouraged to apply.

Fellowship and Financial Benefits

The selected Junior Research Fellow will receive:

The fellowship and HRA will be provided as per institute norms.

Age Limit

Candidates should preferably be below 35 years of age on the date of the written test and/or interview.

Appointment Duration

The position is temporary and may be renewed subject to satisfactory performance.

The maximum appointment duration is:

• Up to 2 years, or

• Until completion of the research project,

whichever is earlier.

Selection Process

The selection process will involve:

1. Shortlisting of eligible applicants.

2. Written test, as applicable.

3. Personal interview.

4. Final selection based on the institute's prescribed procedure.

Candidates with GATE/NET or similar national-level examination qualifications may receive relaxation from the written test as per institute norms.
