The Indian Institute of Information Technology Bhagalpur (IIIT Bhagalpur) invites applications from Indian citizens for one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position under a National Quantum Mission (NQM) sponsored research project funded by the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India.

Position Overview

About the Opportunity

The JRF will work on the research project titled “Undergraduate Teaching Laboratories in Quantum Technologies” under the National Quantum Mission (NQM).

The project provides an opportunity for candidates with backgrounds in electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, quantum technologies, and related areas to contribute to quantum technology research and development.

Essential Qualification

Candidates should possess either of the following:

• B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics & Communication Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Computer Science & Engineering or equivalent with 65% or 6.5 CGPA marks or equivalent

AND/OR

• M.E./M.Tech. in Quantum / VLSI / Microelectronics / Electronics & Communication Engineering / Computer Science & Engineering or equivalent with 65% marks or 6.5 CGPA or equivalent

Desirable Qualification

Preference will be given to candidates having:

• Experience with Quantum tools

• Domain knowledge in Quantum, VLSI, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence

• Valid GATE qualification

Salary / Emoluments

INR 37,000 per month (Consolidated)

Appointment Duration

The initial appointment will be for one year.

The position may be extended for four additional years based on the candidate's performance.

No Objection Certificate

Candidates who are currently employed must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer at the time of interview.
