Indira Gandhi National Tribal University has invited eligible candidates for Walk-in Interviews for engagement as Guest Faculty on a purely temporary basis for the Academic Session 2026–27.

Position Overview

Eligible candidates are invited for Walk-in Interviews for engagement as Guest Faculty in the departments mentioned in Annexure–I.

Candidates are required to appear with:

• Bio-data

• Attested copies of mark sheets

• Certificates/degrees of academic qualifications

• Experience certificates

• Original documents for verification

Honorarium

Selected candidates will receive:

INR 1,500 per lecture, subject to a maximum of INR 50,000 per month, as per UGC norms, terms and conditions of the University.

Eligibility

Candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria prescribed by the University/UGC for the respective Guest Faculty positions.

The detailed eligibility criteria, departments, number of positions and other requirements are provided in Annexure–I.

4. Bring the original documents for verification.

5. Attend the Walk-in Interview at the scheduled date and time.

• The engagement is purely temporary for the Academic Session 2026–27.

• The University reserves the right not to fill any post and to alter the nature and number of vacancies/engagements as required.
