ICAR–Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) invites applications for a temporary Project Associate-I position under a CCRH-sponsored research project in the Division of Plant Physiology.

Position Overview

About the Project

The selected candidate will work on the CCRH-sponsored project titled:

“Field assessment of the efficacy of Homoeopathic medicines as biostimulants for improving yield in mung bean”

The position involves research related to plant physiology and crop performance, with emphasis on evaluating biostimulant effects in mung bean.

Essential Qualification

Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in any of the following disciplines:

• Plant Physiology

• Molecular Biology

• Biotechnology

• Agronomy

• Plant Sciences

• Botany

• Plant Genetic Resources

Desirable Qualification

Research experience in:

• Plant Physiology

• Field Phenotyping

• Data Analysis

Monthly Emoluments

For candidates with NET (CSIR/UGC/ICAR) or GATE qualification:

INR 31,000 per month + HRA

For candidates not falling under the above-mentioned category:

INR 25,000 per month + HRA

Selection Process

• Applications will be screened based on the prescribed eligibility criteria.

• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview.

• The interview will be conducted offline at the Division of Plant Physiology, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi.
