ICAR–Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi invites applications from eligible Indian nationals for 02 Senior Research Fellow (SRF) positions under externally funded projects at the Agricultural Knowledge Management Unit (AKMU).

Essential Qualifications

Candidates should possess relevant qualifications such as:

• B.Tech./Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science

• Master’s degree in relevant disciplines such as:

  • Computer Science

  • Information Technology

  • Informatics / Information Security

  • Information Science

  • MCA

  • Equivalent relevant discipline from a recognized university

Candidates holding a Master’s degree should satisfy the applicable ICAR educational qualification requirements.

Applicants having a three-year Bachelor’s degree should possess NET qualification or an equivalent eligibility certificate, as applicable.

Candidates should also have the prescribed research experience in accordance with applicable ICAR/DST norms.

Desirable Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates having experience in:

• Development of web-based systems

• Database development and management

• Artificial Intelligence tools

• Statistical modelling

• Relevant computer/application development work

• Data-driven agricultural research applications

Fellowship / Emoluments

Selected candidates will receive:

INR 37,000 per month + HRA

HRA will be provided as admissible under applicable rules.

Tenure

The appointments are purely temporary and contractual.

The positions will continue up to the prescribed project period, subject to:

• Project requirements

• Availability of funds

• Satisfactory performance

• Applicable ICAR rules

The selected candidates will have no claim for regular appointment under ICAR.

Selection Process
