About the Opportunity

The Assistant Placement Officer will support placement and outreach activities, including engagement with companies and the higher education/job-market ecosystem.

The appointment is purely contractual for 11 months.

Essential Qualification

Candidates should have:

• Master’s degree with at least 55% marks, or an equivalent Grade B on the UGC seven-point scale, with a consistently good academic record.

• MBA/PGDM in HR, Marketing, or General Management will be preferred.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in university outreach and placement activities.

• Experience in effectively engaging with companies.

• Strong understanding of the higher education sector and job market.

Skills Required

• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills

• Proficiency in MS Office – Excel, PowerPoint and Word

• Ability to manage data and records effectively

• Industry/company engagement skills

• Understanding of placement and university outreach activities

Remuneration

INR 80,000 – 1,00,000 per month, depending on experience.

No additional allowances or perks will be admissible.

Maximum Age: 40 years

Nature of Appointment

The appointment will be purely on a contractual basis for 11 months only.
