This Special Issue invites research examining how formal and informal institutions have influenced the development, interpretation, and implementation of entrepreneurship education across different countries and educational contexts.
About the Special Issue
Entrepreneurship education has expanded considerably over recent decades, supported by national policies, educational institutions, and initiatives promoting entrepreneurial behaviour. However, comparatively less research has examined the institutional forces and actors that have shaped this development.
The Special Issue seeks contextually sensitive research exploring how policies, cultural values, institutional structures, and different actors influence entrepreneurship education. Studies using institutional analysis at national or international levels, comparative perspectives, and historical approaches are particularly relevant.
Research may also investigate the role of policymakers, universities, educational leaders, teachers, intermediary organizations, and students in translating, resisting, adapting, or advancing entrepreneurship education.
