The pre-PhD degree score is calculated using:

Here, X represents the percentage marks in the eligible pre-PhD degree. Candidates may select an eligible degree of at least two years’ duration, as specified in the Recruitment Rules, to maximise their score.

Stage 2: Consideration Zone and Detailed Scrutiny

DTU will publish a provisional consideration-zone list. Only candidates included in this zone will be required to send the signed application printout and supporting documents by the separately announced deadline.

The notification provides for provisional shortlisting of up to 4 + 8X candidates, where X is the number of advertised posts in the relevant discipline and category, subject to its tie-score and reservation provisions.

Stage 3: Document and Point-Mark Verification

Provisionally shortlisted candidates must produce original documents and self-attested copies supporting their qualifications, experience and claimed points.

Failure to produce the required documents may result in cancellation of candidature.

Stage 4: Teaching Presentation

Final selection considers academic record, experience and research performance, teaching aptitude and ability, domain knowledge and interview performance.
