The Department of Economics, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi invites applications for one Research Associate (RA-II) position under an ongoing SERB-sponsored research project on gender parity in the Indian labour market.

Position Overview

About the Research Project

The Research Associate will work on the SERB-sponsored research project titled:

“Institutions for Promoting Gender Parity in Indian Labor Market”

The project is hosted by the Department of Economics, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi.

Essential Qualification

Candidates must possess:

• Master’s Degree in Economics

• Minimum CGPA of 7 or 70%

Desirable Qualification

Preference will be given to candidates with:

• Good writing skills

• Knowledge of STATA

• Knowledge of R

• Knowledge of Python

Remuneration

The selected candidate will receive:

INR 61,000 per month + HRA @ 30%

HRA will be payable only if the candidate is not availing University accommodation/hostel.

The selected candidate will not be eligible for any other payments, allowances, or benefits.

Appointment Duration

The appointment will initially be for 8 months, starting from 01 November 2026.

Continuation of the Research Associateship will be subject to satisfactory performance.

Selection Process

Candidates will initially be shortlisted based on:

The interview is expected to be conducted within 15 days from the application deadline.

The selected candidate will receive the appointment letter for joining through email.
