📋 Overview of Role

DePaul University's Driehaus College of Business invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor specializing in Strategic Management, beginning in the 2027–2028 academic year. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate strategic management courses, maintain an active research program, and contribute to university service.

🎯 Key Responsibilities & Teaching Scope

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Strategic Management, Business Policy, Corporate Strategy, and related areas.

• Maintain an active program of scholarly research and publish in high-quality academic journals.

• Contribute to university and departmental service.

• Candidates with additional expertise in Entrepreneurship, International Business, or Business and Society are encouraged to apply.

• Engage with DePaul's Vincentian mission, particularly through research and teaching addressing social and environmental challenges.

• Contribute to the research-active Department of Management and Entrepreneurship and its undergraduate, graduate, and DBA programs.

🎓 Qualifications & Candidate Profile

• Required Education: Doctoral degree in Strategic Management or a related field; ABD candidates will also be considered.

• Experience & Specializations: Prior university teaching experience in strategic management, business policy, or corporate strategy is preferred.

• Industry Experience: Candidates with relevant industry experience are welcome.

• Research: Candidates with strong publication records in top journals and seeking credit toward tenure are encouraged to apply.

• Additional Expertise: Experience or research interests in entrepreneurship, international business, or business and society are welcomed.

💼 Remuneration & Benefits

• Salary: $150,000–$170,000 for the 10-month appointment.

• Compensation is commensurate with qualifications, education, experience, training, responsibilities, budget considerations, and market conditions.
