The Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ) invites online applications from eligible Indian citizens for 02 Group-A Non-Teaching positions. The recruitment includes one regular Executive Engineer post and one contractual Training & Placement Officer post.

1. Executive Engineer

Number of Posts: 01
Reservation: UR
Appointment: Regular Basis
Pay Level: Level 11
Maximum Age: 50 years

Essential Qualifications

Candidates must have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute or equivalent.

• At least 8 years of relevant experience as Assistant Engineer in:

  • CPWD

  • State Government PWD

  • Similar organized services

  • Semi-Government organizations

  • PSU

  • Statutory/Autonomous organizations

  • University system

  • Reputed private organizations

Candidates possessing a postgraduate qualification in Construction Management, Structural Engineering or equivalent fields will receive a relaxation of 2 years in the required experience.

Desirable Qualifications

Preference may be given to candidates with:

• At least 2 years' experience as an Executive Engineer handling time-bound construction projects involving multistorey buildings.

• Experience in planning, estimation and tendering as per CPWD/PWD norms.

• Knowledge of CPWD manuals, estimates, drawings, structural details and bills of quantities.

• Knowledge of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and latest management technology/relevant software.

2. Training & Placement Officer

Reservation: UR
Appointment: Contractual Basis
Consolidated Salary: INR 80,000 per month throughout the engagement period.

Essential Qualifications

Candidates must possess either:

• M.Tech./M.E. in any discipline or equivalent professional degree with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade from an AICTE-approved University/Institute.

OR

• B.Tech./B.E. or equivalent professional degree along with MBA/PGDM in Marketing/HR, with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade in both qualifications, from AICTE-approved institutions.

Additionally:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Training & Placement in Higher Educational Institutions.

• Candidates from industry or placement agencies having experience in industry liaison may also be considered.

Desirable Skills

• Ability to conduct training and employability skill-development programmes.

• Strong liaison with industry and understanding of industry requirements.

• Ability to conduct aptitude-training programmes.

Key Responsibilities – Training & Placement Officer

The selected candidate will be responsible for activities including:

• Establishing tie-ups with reputed industries and corporates for campus recruitment.

• Sharing eligible student data with recruiters and inviting companies for recruitment.

• Preparing students for aptitude tests, group discussions, technical interviews and HR interviews.

• Organizing campus recruitment drives.

• Creating placement opportunities for students.

• Conducting tests and workshops to identify students' strengths and areas for improvement.

Selection Process

Depending on the post, CURAJ may conduct:

• Written Test

• Trade Test

• Computer Test

• Interview

• Any other appropriate assessment as per the applicable recruitment rules

Meeting the minimum qualifications does not automatically guarantee a call for the selection process, and the University may adopt shortlisting criteria when a large number of applications are received.
