Overview of Role

Centre College invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Economics and Business with a specialization in Macroeconomics.

The position is part of the Economics & Business Program, which offers degrees in Business and Economics & Finance. The successful candidate will contribute to core and elective teaching in their specialty while supporting undergraduate education, student mentorship, scholarship, and program development.

Key Responsibilities & Teaching Scope

• Teach 6 courses per academic year.

• Teach core and elective courses in Macroeconomics and related areas.

• Contribute to the Economics & Finance curriculum.

• Support the Business degree program where appropriate.

• Maintain an active scholarly agenda.

• Mentor undergraduate students.

• Participate in shared governance and academic service.

• Contribute to interdisciplinary collaboration.

• Support the continued growth of the Economics & Business Program.
