Cogent Business & Management invites submissions for an Article Collection examining how political institutions, legal and regulatory systems, trade policy, and institutional environments shape international trade, investment, and cross-border business decisions.
About the Article Collection
International trade and investment decisions are influenced not only by markets, technology, geography, and costs, but also by the political and institutional environments in which organizations operate. The Collection seeks research on how factors such as regulatory quality, property rights, political risk, corruption, bureaucracy, lobbying, trade policy, and international agreements relate to corporate strategy and international business activity.
The Collection also focuses on how firms respond to institutional uncertainty, regulatory change, supply-chain disruption, geopolitical fragmentation, and changing patterns of global economic integration. It aims to connect international business and management scholarship with political economy, public policy, development studies, institutional analysis, and law and economics.
