Bridgewater State University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Management with a concentration in Management Information Systems (MIS). The successful candidate will teach and contribute to programs focused on information systems, business analytics, technology management, data-informed decision-making, and emerging technologies.

🎯 Key Responsibilities & Teaching Scope

• Teach undergraduate and graduate Management Information Systems courses, including information systems fundamentals, business analytics, data visualization, database management, AI, and emerging technologies.

• Teach both lower- and upper-level courses, with opportunities to teach Honors and graduate courses.

• Deliver courses through traditional face-to-face and online formats using engaging and appropriate teaching methods.

• Advise students on academic curricula and maintain regular office hours for student engagement.

• Participate in faculty meetings, committees, curriculum development, and departmental activities.

• Support student success and engagement within a diverse university community.

🎓 Qualifications & Candidate Profile

• Required Education: Ph.D. or DBA in Management Information Systems, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a directly related field from a regionally accredited university by September 1, 2027.

• Experience & Specializations: Demonstrated ability to effectively present information systems, business analytics, or technology-related concepts through teaching, mentoring, professional presentations, or training.

• Professional Experience: Related professional work experience is required.

• Certifications / Licensure: Not specified.

💼 Remuneration & Benefits

• Starting Salary Range: USD $75,000–$85,000 for a new Assistant Professor, commensurate with experience and applicable contractual provisions.

• Salary is determined in accordance with the MSCA contract and Appendix O.

• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check.
