The positions are full-time and non-tenured and are intended to support faculty members in teaching, course delivery, laboratory management, student mentoring and other academic activities.

Eligibility:
M.E. / M.Tech. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent.

• Communication Engineering & Networking

• Power Electronics & Energy Systems

• Instrumentation & Control

• Signal Processing

• Machine Learning

Computer Science & Information Systems (CSIS)

Eligibility:
M.E. / M.Tech. in Computer Science or equivalent.

Preferred Expertise:

• Strong programming skills in C, C++, Java and/or Python

• Data Structures & Algorithms

• Computer Networks

• Operating Systems

• Database Systems

• TCP/IP and Wireless Networking

• POSIX/System & Kernel Programming

• SQL/NoSQL Databases

• AI/ML (PyTorch, scikit-learn)

• Computer Architecture

• FPGA, Verilog/SystemVerilog and related areas

Economics and Finance

Eligibility:
Master's degree such as M.A. / M.Sc. or equivalent in:

• Economics

• Finance

• Statistics

• Mathematics

• Data Science

OR

• MBA

Preferred Expertise:

• Economics

• Finance & Management

• Econometrics

• Financial Economics

• Applied Economics

• Development Economics

• Quantitative Economics

Important: Hyderabad Campus is not hiring for Economics and Finance under this call.

Key Responsibilities

Instructional Support

Selected Academic Associates will assist faculty members with:

• Tutorials and classroom support

• Preparation and evaluation of assignments and assessments

• Grading activities

• Coordination of multi-section courses

• Preparation of instructional material

• Implementation of pedagogical innovations

• Student mentoring and demonstrations

Laboratory Management & Support

Depending on departmental requirements, responsibilities may include:

• Supporting laboratory instruction

• Assessment of laboratory work

• Conducting viva sessions and demonstrations

• Ensuring laboratory safety compliance

• Managing equipment and resources

• Guiding students during experiments

• Supporting the development of new experiments and laboratory modules

Duration

The initial appointment will be for 2 years.

Continuation may be considered annually thereafter, subject to satisfactory performance and the continuing requirements of BITS Pilani.
