Position Overview

About the Opportunity

Amrita International School of Law is seeking experienced academicians and legal scholars for the position of Professor at the Coimbatore Campus.

Candidates should possess a strong record in teaching, research, doctoral supervision, academic leadership, and contribution to legal education.

Essential Qualification

Candidates should possess:

• Master’s degree in Law (LL.M.) from a recognized university

• Ph.D.

• Minimum 55% marks or an equivalent grade on a point scale in the LL.M. degree

Experience Required

Candidates should have:

• Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience, OR

• 15 years or more of teaching and industry experience

Academic & Research Requirements

Candidates should demonstrate:

• A good academic record

• Minimum score as per the stipulated standards of the Bar Council of India (BCI)

• Required minimum API (Academic Performance Indicator) and PBAS (Performance Based Appraisal System) scores

• Experience in guiding doctoral candidates

• Significant contribution to education, innovation, and curriculum design

Eminent Scholar Provision
