Educational Qualifications

Applicants should possess any of the following qualifications:

• Postgraduate degree or Ph.D. in:

  • Agricultural Extension

  • Agronomy

  • Plant Breeding

• Any Social Science discipline

• Any postgraduate degree with an undergraduate degree in Agriculture

Key Skills Required

Candidates should have:

• Strong analytical and research skills in field trials, surveys, data handling, and analysis.

• Familiarity with research methodologies.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Tamil and English.

• Proficiency in MS Office and statistical software such as SPSS, STATA, or R.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Job Responsibilities

The selected Research Assistant will be expected to:

• Assist in conducting field research and surveys.

• Manage and analyse research data.

• Support research methodology implementation.

• Prepare reports and research documentation.

• Coordinate project-related activities and maintain records.

• Contribute to data-driven research initiatives.
