Modelling, Control, and Resilience for Sustainable Buildings and Communities
Journal: Advances in Building Energy Research
Publisher: Taylor & Francis Group
Special Issue
Manuscript Submission Deadline: 31 May 2027
Advances in Building Energy Research invites submissions for a Special Issue focused on advanced modelling, intelligent control, energy efficiency, decarbonization, and resilience in sustainable buildings and communities.
About the Special Issue
Buildings and communities are increasingly being transformed by grid interaction, decarbonization, climate pressures, and evolving energy systems. Addressing these developments requires integrated approaches combining advanced modelling, simulation, control technologies, experimental validation, and data-driven methods.
This Special Issue provides a platform for researchers and practitioners to present innovative methodologies, emerging technologies, and real-world applications that improve building performance, energy efficiency, occupant well-being, sustainability, and resilience. It is organized in conjunction with the eSim 2026 Conference and will include expanded versions of selected conference papers; however, submissions are open to all researchers whose work fits the Special Issue scope.
